Tower Bridge - the glass floor

A visit to the Tower Bridge to see the glass floor, and to marvel at our braveness.  That is, if we walk on it.

Mia, Abi and Raphy, all ready for their adventure.
But first lunch, pizza on the Southbank.
The Tower Bridge, which opened up to let a tall sailing ship through.  We ealked along the walkway between the two towers.  Thankfully it was enclosed.
And here they are, bravely sitting on the glass floor, with the road far below them.
The skyline, with all the new buildings, plus more to come, considering the high number of cranes visible in the distance.
The Shard, rising above the other buildings.
The confidence has grown.  Time to lie on the floor.
Raphy's feet, floating high above the road.
And yes, I stood on the floor, the person who does not like heights.  Notice the barge going under the bridge.
After a quick look at the engine room, we stopped at Starbucks for coffee.
Regeneration abounds.
We then walked back across the bridge, in order to take the Docklands Light Railway to Greenwich.  Great excitement as we were able to get the front seats, courtesy of some very kind people.  It was like being on a roller coaster.

Raphy putting on his best smile for the camera
Abi pretending to drive the train.
More regeneration.  Docklands.
