Bluebells

On our side of Joydens Wood, the bluebells are prolific.    The best I have ever seen.    There must be the right amount of filtered light coming through the trees, to encourage them to spread rapidly.   Plus a soil that bluebells like to grow in, of course.
So many photo opportunities.    But where to start.   The sunlight filtering through the new spring growth on the trees, dappled shadows, the brightness of the bluebells, quite take one's breath away.  But capturing it all on a camera is quite another thing.
A mysterious narrow path leads off the main path, perfect for exploring.    Actually it leads back onto the main path again, just a diversion, made as an alternative to the boggy, muddy path during winter.  Ah well it was lovely to stop, wonder and then explore, for a few minutes.
Poppy enjoying the bluebells, jumping over the clumps, and picking up all the fox and squirrel scents. Always elusive though.
All too soon the bluebells will be finished for the year,   Such a magical part of spring, in this part of the world.
