Camping Manjastre

Finally at Camping Manjastre, for a three week holiday, sunshine, rest and relaxation, plus plenty of socialising too.  And flowing wine.

Now that the main holiday season is finished and children are back at school, it is time for the next wave of people to come south.  Those people who do not have school aged children, or work in schools or are forced to take their holidays in July or August.  And the campsite is filling up with these lucky people.  Although it will not reach the August fever pitch, it will be pleasantly busy.

As we arrived before the end of August we were able to quickly say hello and then goodbye to all the friends we know through ouŕ trips here in August.  And it was lovely to catch up with them.

All set up and ready for our holiday.
The view across the deserted campsites, before the sites start to fill up again.
We have the swimming pool to ourselves, no longer filled with happy but very noisy children.  Temperature in the pool is still around 23 degrees.
The light in the Cote d'Azur is clear and bright, which brings the colour out in the trees, as well as the coastline.  A painter's paradise.
The start of the morning walk, only 20 minutes at present, but soon to be increased to forty minutes.  Once we recover from our colds, and tiredness.  It has been a very busy few months.
Great to be here.
