Off we go! On a new adventure. This time with Scott, who intends to stay on in Australia until July. Great excitement all round.
After saying goodbye to Donna, Patrick and Lucy, we arrive at the hotel, which is the first step on our journey to Australia.
An early start the next day, so that Scott could spend time with his friends, who had come from Swanley to see him off.
After an easy passage through security we arrived at our 'gate' to find the plane, an Airbus A380, waiting for us on the tarmac.
We had prebooked the exit seats, which were right behind First Class. It was very quiet and very comfortable.
We flew Malaysian Airlines this time, instead of our usual carrier, Singapore Airlines, and found the staff very friendly and the food excellent. Altogether a very pleasant 12 hour flight.
