Collinson's Cottage

A few photos of my brother Brian's magnificent garden in Wanaka.  Brian and Susanne run a bed and breakfast business in their house, www.collinsonscottage.co.nz.

They have two guest rooms in their house, a self contained apartment and a large cottage.   The buildings are set in a beautifully landscaped garden, full of interesting garden rooms, and sculptures.

The view from the upstairs balcony.
Susanne's huge tomato plants, laden with fruit.
A view through a clematis covered arch.
A metal gate made with recycled materials.
One of Brian's outdoor paintimgs.
A side view.
Garden art.  The mouth and tail are made of old pliers, cut in half, and the body is an old saw.
The Japanese garden.
There are plenty of buxus balls in the garden, meticulously trimmed.
The new garden mirror, which brings light and reflection into a very shady part of the garden.
A brightly coloured sculpture.  A splash of colour.
The back patio, full of colour and dappled shade.
Another recycled gate leading out onto one of the drives.
We always love walking around the ever changing garden.  A real joy to see.
