A coming of age. Lucy's 21st birthday party. It was held two weeks ago, just before we left Adelaide. Such an exciting evening, with lovely memories that will always stay with us.
Lucy is our granddaughter, the second eldest of our nine grandchildren. Scott is the eldest but we missed his 21st birthday, as he was in Australia and we were in the United Kingdom, well the Netherlands to be precise as we were on our way back from a trip to Scandinavia. We were very sad to have missed Scott's 21st but that is the problem when family members live in different countries.
It is so lovely to watch our grandchildren growing up, and with Lucy, who is now at University and working part time at a cinema , she has grown into a fine young woman. We are immensely proud of you Lucy.
And now some photographs of family and friends who were able to attend Lucy's 21st party. There were many family members, and friends who could not come to it, due to living on the other side of the world, in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Thank you Donna for letting me use your photographs.
