Goodbye to the Gold Coast

Yesterday we collected our teeny, weeny Apollo camper van, and today we packed it up ready for our four week trip to Adelaide.    It was a struggle to fit everything into the van, plus us, but we managed.

But first we went to the market in Carrara, for our last shopping spree before leaving the Gold Coast.    New sun hats were high on the list of important things to buy, especially as we will be outside a lot during the next four weeks.

Breakfast at the markets.    Jackie chose pancakes, with ice cream, cream and berries.   Scrumptious!
Walter chose bacon and eggs.   Traditional!     I did not go without, as it would appear from the view of the table.    I chose the healthy option (still had not arrived when the photo was taken) of muesli and fresh fruit.   Delicious!
A pineapple plant for sale ($15).   It even had a small pineapple growing on the plant.
Nearly ready!
I think Jackie would like to come too!
The van, in amongst the lovely landscaping and houses.
 Jackie's lovely house.
Our last swim!
It was very hard to say good bye to Jackie, and June too.    But hopefully it will not be too long before we see them again.
